This is a WP-Members plugin extension to help prevent spam registrations.
This free plugin utilizes the stopforumspam.com API to validate registration data against their spam database. Despite the name, it is for more than just forums and is used for comments and registrations as well. In this plugin, the email and IP address of the user is validated against the API before allowing registration to continue.
