WP-Members Mailchimp integration has received an update. This is version 2.3.5.

The primary driver of this update is a bug fix when moderated registration is used and the subscription to Mailchimp is held until the user is approved.

Previously, if this was the setup and the user was activated from the Users > All Users screen, they were not added to Mailchimp, nor set locally as subscribed. If the user was activated from the user profile, it would be noticed that the user was not marked as subscribed and would need to be set as subscribed and activated at the same time.

This was due to a bug in the processing logic, which this update corrects. Now, if the user is activated from Users > All Users, they will be set as subscribed locally and will be added to the Mailchimp list.

Other updates

Since we are updating the plugin, there are some other updates included. These updates are part of a larger project doing a complete code audit on the plugin.

This is also the first plugin extension to be “officially” released as WP 7.0 tested and compatible. Other extensions are tested and compatible, but haven’t had an update pushing out with the official tag. If you have any questions on WP 7.0 compatibility, reach out with your questions.
