User List: Dropdown selection for “search for” value for certain field types

This article describes a custom code snippet that will change the search form for the User List.  It flips the field order (to “Search by” first and “Search for” second).  The second thing it does is apply some jQuery to change the input type for “Search for”.

If the “Search by” field represents a checkbox, multiple checkbox, select, multiple select, or radio field as its WP-Members field type, then the “Search for” is changed to a dropdown selection of the possible values of that field.  Continue Reading →

I have released an update for the WP-Members Memberships for WooCommerce extension. This extension allows you to link a WooCommerce product to a WP-Members membership so you can sell it through WooCommerce.

WP-Members 3.3 is now in official development.  You can keep up with the development process via the Development Repository on Github.

Version 3.3 will bring some important changes that have been pending for awhile.  There have been some pending features that both I and members of the user community have wanted to see brought into the plugin and some of these may break past functionality.  I usually try to keep things very backward compatible, so I figured that if we are going to “upset the apple cart,” then it’s probably best to do as much of it all at the same time, so users only have to do a major site audit one time.  Continue Reading →
