An update to the WP-Members Security extension has been released.  This update involves some changes to the db (and upgrades the db version for the plugin).  That may or may not make rollback an issue, so it is recommended that you backup your database before updating.

WP-Members version 3.3.8 has been released and it has a number of improvements that I am really excited about.

I want to first point out that this update does upgrade the plugin’s database version, so there are some db changes (although minor).  They should not affect rollback, though.  The new settings would simply be ignored if you rolled back to an earlier version.  Continue Reading →

In WP-Members 3.3.5, I added a new feature option for password reset to use a reset link.  There have been some isolated reports of problems with this process where a user is sent a link, then receives a message that the activation key is expired when they try to reset the password.  Continue Reading →
