Remove all widgets except the WP-Members login from the sidebar

Chad Butler · Jul 1, 2014 ·

A frequent support question is how to prevent widgets from displaying if the user is not logged in.

This could potentially be a broad topic, depending upon what the user has in mind. But an approach that removes all widgets that are not the WP-Members login widget is a fairly straightforward process.

I tried this because I don’t want non-members to use search widget on sidebar and see search results, but it didn’t work. I just added the code snippet on the functions.php (at the end of it). Could you tell me how to do it right? Thank you!
