Today, I’ve added another free plugin available from RocketGeek.com – WP-Members Stop Spam Registrations.

This is an extension for WP-Members that validates registrations through the stopforumspam.com API, checking the user’s registered email and IP address against spam data.  The plugin hooks into not only WP-Members’ registration process, but WP’s native registration as well, so as to prevent “back-door” spam registrations.  Continue Reading →

WP-Members Security 1.1.0

WP-Members Security 1.1.0 has been released and it is primarily a bug fix release.  Well… it started as a bug fix release.  There were a couple of new features added as well (from the 2.0.0 project – adding them early) that facilitated bumping to to 1.1.0 instead of 1.0.4.
