If you came to the rocketgeek.com site this morning, you may have been greeted by a “maintenance mode” message indicating the site was undergoing an upgrade. That’s because I was working on an upgrade to the site’s backend systems.

On the front end, it should remain largely unnoticeable for most users.  If you are a subscriber of the site from prior to 2018, you may notice some differences with regards to renewal.  But everyone should notice that you can now renew your product/license keys from the license key screen.  Continue Reading →

Importing users using a plugin

There are different approaches to importing users into a WordPress site. The simplest method is to use a plugin. We have had success with the “Import and export users and customers” plugin.

The plugin allows you to import users from a CSV file and include custom meta fields (which any custom field created by WP-Members or any other plugin is).   Continue Reading →
