This is the home of WP-Members and is packed with a great deal of information about the plugin, how to use it, and how to set it up. The plugin is rich with both shortcodes as well as action & filter hooks, so there are many examples here to demonstrate its extensibility. There is also a free User’s Guide and How-to guides on setting up the plugin.
The real value with this site is to sign up for a membership subscription. Just $59/year will get you access to the entire site which includes members only content in the form of priority support, a members only forum (non-members can view the support forum but not the members only section), and a boat-load of examples and code snippets to show you how to customize the plugin to fit your specific needs.
What kind of customizations? Well for starters, this entire site runs on WP-Members. If you already use the plugin, you’ll notice some unique features that may not be recognizable as WP-Members right out of the box.
I’ve added some icons along the way that link to tutorials of what I did to properly customize the plugin so that (1) we make use of its many features while (2) keeping it upgradeable and not messing with the plugin’s core code. For those of you that want a custom-fit, but still need to be able to stay current with updates and new features, this is going to show you how to do it right.
Also for members, there will be members-only downloads of add-on modules for the plugin, starting with a much requested PayPal subscription module. I expect to have that ready for release soon (it’s being tested on this site as we speak).
