The release of WP-Members 3.3.0 was a major event, but it went very smoothly considering the massive changes that were included. As of today, all reported bugs and issues related to 3.3.0 have been addressed and fixed in the various patch releases and/or version 3.3.1 that was released last night.

I have released an update for the WP-Members Memberships for WooCommerce extension. This update includes renewal reminders.
Note that for the email renewal reminders to work, you MUST be using WP-Members 3.3. If you are on a version less than that, the user expiration dates are not properly formatted.
Also note that the email for the renewal reminder is a WooCommerce email, not a WP-Members email. This is to provide consistency with the other emails within WooCommerce. Like other WC emails, the template (which is included and used by default in the plugin) can be copied to your theme folder and customized. Also, the email is managed within the WC settings, not WP-Members.
I have updated the documentation to include information on setup:

WP-Members 3.3.0 has been released. I have been working on this update for more than 1/2 the year (2019). It is the most significant update to the plugin up to this point.
While most of the changes are behind-the-scenes, so-to-speak, there are definitely changes that you need to be aware of. For most users who have a relatively recent install of the plugin, this should be fairly seamless. But if you have an older install (“older” meaning here that you’ve had it installed for a long time – even if you’ve kept it up to date) AND you have a lot of customizations, please take note of any changes in file names, removed functions, and updated action/filter hooks.
